Christian Mieves

Christian Mieves – Painter and lecturer at the University of Newcastle, United Kingdom. After studying at Fachhochschule Mainz, he received a British scholarship from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC). In 2003 he began an MFA in painting at the University of Newcastle (UK), where he also completed his PhD in painting in 2009. For 20 years his works have been shown in solo and group exhibitions in the UK, Spain, Mexico, and Germany.
