Nicola Schudy – born 1968, lives in Cologne. 1989–1996 studies in visual communication at Fachhochschule Düsseldorf and fine arts at ISBA Institut Supérieur des Beaux Arts, Besançon/France. Since 2016 “statements Köln” in the artothek, Museen der Stadt Köln (joint project). Awards: Leo-Breuer-Preis des Landschaftsverbandes Rheinland, Arbeitsstipendium Stiftung Kunstfonds Bonn, Arbeitsstipendium des Landes NRW, Künstlerhaus Schloss Balmoral. Solo exhibitions include: ZIF – Zentrum für interdisziplinäre Forschung Bielefeld, Kunstverein kjubh Köln, Urbane Künste Ruhr, Kunstverein Buchholz, Gesellschaft für Kunst und Gestaltung Bonn, Bellevue-Saal Wiesbaden. Group exhibitions include: Museum Kunstpalast Düsseldorf, Ltk4 Raum für klangbasierte Künste Köln, Künstlerhaus Dortmund, Vorgebirgsparkskulptur Köln, Malkastenpark Düsseldorf, Schloss Agathenburg Stade.
