Susanne Britz – born 1974 in Neuwied, has lived and worked in Berlin since 2005. 2002 advanced studies in photography with Vladimir Spacek; 2022/23 teaching assignment at Leuphana University Lüneburg. Member of Deutscher Künstlerbund and since 2022 co-operator of the Berlin project space Axel Obiger. Awards and funding: 2022: “NEUSTART KULTUR” scholarship, Stiftung Kunstfonds, Bonn – 2021: “NEUSTART KULTUR” scholarship for digital mediation formats, DKB, Berlin – 2018: Winner Losito Kunstpreis, Losito Kressmann-Zschach Foundation – 2012: BRITA-Kunstpreis for Artistic Photography – 2011: Scholarship Künstlerdorf Schöppingen – 2009: Winner “junger westen” Kunsthalle Recklinghausen.
